Well traveled baby boy…
So like I said in the last post at the beginning, we are hitting the road 2-morrow and could possibly be on the road non stop for months. So it’s a good thing your already a well traveled baby. You were traveling at only three days old. Mommy had you on the 4th of July while we were performing at the Napa County Fair in Ca and we were discharged from the hospital on the 5th and the 6th was the last day of the fair . So that night Daddy had to pack up so we could get to our next job which was in Vallejo, Ca. That fair started on the 10th which didn’t give us much time to get there and set up so we were in a hurry to get on the road. Plus, Mommy and Daddy were excited that Grandpa and Grandma Lelani were coming to see us there so they could meet their brand new grandson. Mommy couldn’t wait to show you off.

Mommy was so happy that they drove down to meet you because if they hadn’t you would have been 5 or 6 months old before we would be back to their house in Galt. We were at their house for 3 weeks before we had to go to the fair you were born at. Mommy really wanted you to come a little bit earlier while we were there but you just wasn’t ready to make an appearence yet. Mommy and Daddy would walk almost every evening out in Grandpas pasture with the cows thinking it might help labor to start but it didn’t work.

We even brought you out to meet Falene when we got back to grandpas. You were 12 weeks old and slept thru the whole thing. But I’m sure she was happy to meet you. And she thought what a good looking baby that is and Mommy couldn’t agree more. I love you Baby Boy!!

Once we got out there all the cows wanted to meet you
Ok, Mommys going to go back to the story of your first year with us traveling and continue it now. Sometimes Mommy gets side tracked from what I was doing and starts something new. Ok back to your travels. The fair in Vallejo Ca started on the 9th which is the same day your Grandpa and Grandma Lelani came to meet you. We had a nice day that day and enjoyed having family around us . It’s a ok kind of fair. We were able to show you off to some friends that we only see a couple times a year at fairs. Then the next day after our first 2 shows we decided to bundle you up in your new stroller that we got from Grandma Lelani and Aunt Carolyne at the baby shower that was thrown in your honor my precious baby boy. So Mommy gets you all covered and snuggled into the stroller and you looked so handsome and just perfect…
Your bundled up in your new stroller looking very precious and sweet to go on your first outing with Mommy & Daddy walking around the Vallejo Fair . That’s when your Mommy & Daddy decided to make a little wadger on who could win our son his first stuffed animal from a fair. First we had to decide on a carnival game that we both agreed to play. And it didn’t take long for us to pick a water game. There fun and a 2 year old could play. It’s a simple game just shoot the water into one of the 3 holes that are spinning and the first to fill their water tube to the top wins. So Mommy knew I was going to have to let Daddy win this one cause he never wins when he goes up against Mommy and I didn’t want your Daddy to be sad cause he did win his son his first carnival toy. And let me tell you son, your Daddy was so proud when he won you that yellow bear. Well just look at the smile on his face as he holds the bear up…

And here’s the cute yellow stuffed animal that we think is a bear.

So the last day of this fair is the 13th of July and Daddy will have to pack everything up again and Mommy is starting to feel very guilty for not helping him right now but I can’t. I have to heal up from giving birth to you my precious son. All the pain and soreness I feel right now was a millions times worth it only because I now have the love of my life my precious son. Mommy loves you a million times over and over.
So, we got all packed up and ready to go and off we went. This time we were on or way to The King Conty Fair in Enumclaw WA for July 16-20. So you are on your first out of state trip and you were only 12 days old. That was another good fair becase your Grandma Mary and your Aunt Leila came to meet you. Your Grandma Mary lives in Galt but wanted to see you so badly that she took vacation time and came all the way up to WA plus your Aunt Leila and her are sister and they wanted to visit with each other also.

My husband and I look forward to writting about the precious moments and milestones our son will experience as he grows. We also look forward to and sharing our experiences as proud and adoring parents and sharing photos of Jr. for our friends and family to see….
