While you were in Mommy’s Tummy…

Mommy and Daddy were so happy and  figured that  the pregnacy would go smoothly but boy were we wrong. Mommy was sick pretty much from the start.  I had morning sickness but it was more like all day sickness and it was AWFUL.  Luckily the first couple of months we didn’t have to travel because it was the slow time for our business.  But as soon as March came around we were off and that all day morning sickness was joined by motion sickness. We tried everything possible from pill, motion bands, teas, vitamins and nothing worked. Mommy’s new best friend was the toilet. Daddy would feel bad becasue he couldn’t help me or make it better.  After a while I kinda just got used to it and tried to eat only things that wouldn’t be so bad the second time around.LOL. While all this was going on you were getting bigger and bigger in Mommys tummy and my tummy was getting bigger and bigger so you would have plenty of  room to stretch out in.

You were due during our busiest time of  the season. So we weren’t sure where exactly you would be born and Mommy worried about this all the time.  Your original due date was July 17,2008 and I always said over and over “wouldn’t it be great if he was born on the 4th of July” but your dad was routing for his birthday July 1. I told him no way, I’m the one doing all the work you don’t get that joy of me having him on your b-day.LOL. But of course if it had happened that way I would have been just as happy and thrilled as I was the day you did arrive.

We had more ultrasounds done. This time 3-d ones because we wanted to know the sex. I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant with you that you were a boy. But, we needed some proof before we could start telling everyone. Your daddy was very happy you were a boy. He was excited to tell your grandpa he was having another grandson.
